Backpack Awareness Day Events Included: 1. Introduction speaker about the proper way to wear the backpack. 2. Children weigh themselves and their backpacks. 3. Children will be given a note that states the backpack's percentage weight (English and Spanish available). 4. Game to guess the weight of a sample backpack. Prize given to the student that is the closest!
