Holistic Occupational Therapy

The mind/body relationship is an important element in my Occupational Therapy practice. I earned my M.A. in counseling to gain a better insight into the psychosocial issues my clients face.  My private practice consists of preK-8 students with sensory processing and fine motor problems. My adult clients may be seen as individuals or in a group setting with an educational focus of gaining the skills needed improve the quality of life. I provide a 6 or 12 week course of self empowerment (Assertiveness Skills) that is tailored to the special needs of the group or individual.

I have never forgotten my traditional training in OT school and firmly believe that directed activity may greatly improve the quality on one’s life.  I use a multimodality approach which includes, but is not limited to: Skill development training, Sensory Integration theory, Brain Gym, Handwriting without Tears, and client centered therapy.

Please contact me so we can discuss an individual program for you or your child.
