| Job Description | Come grow and learn in a private, well-established, and rapidly growing Occupational Therapy practice located in the heart of the Desert Southwest in Tucson, AZ. We utilize evidence-based treatments and frequently incorporate principles of Pilates and Feldenkrais methods into therapy. As specialists in upper extremity rehabilitation, we work closely with leading orthopedic specialists in Tucson and the surrounding areas for both adult and pediatric patients. Our growing pediatric practice focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders and delays including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder. We work with these special children both on an outpatient basis in our clinic and through school-based programs utilizing an integrative approach providing “the right amount of challenge” for each child. We also facilitate a multi-sensory and socially based group for children held in our natural desert setting and incorporating musical circle time, obstacle courses to assist with gross motor development and small farm animals to assist with fine motor skills. |
| Qualifications | We welcome team players with:
•A degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program and current state licensure •Strong verbal and written communication skills •Great motivation and energy •Ability to perform multiple tasks at once •The skills necessary to connect with and relate to a wide variety of patients •Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time and lift 40 pounds |
